A WASC committee visited Grant High from April 15 to April 18, 2007.  Nearly every classroom was visited.  Committee members spoke with students, teachers, administrators, staff, and parents.  They were very impressed with Grant High School and reflected this in their final report which listed 12 areas of commendation and only 6 areas of review.

 

After an appeal was filed challenging the initial accreditation period of 3 years, the Accrediting Commission for Schools determined that Grant High School earned a six year accreditation term with a one day mid-term visit.  Our principal was informed of this decision February 4, 2008.  This means that Grant High is accredited through 2013, when we will go through the accreditation process once more.
