On Monday, August 21, 2017, a solar eclipse will be visible across the United States. Grant High School does not have any activities planned for the solar eclipse. We are following district guidelines and are having a modified bell schedule with a dismissal at 3:09 PM. All PE classes will meet indoors during the eclipse.
WARNING: The only safe way to look directly at an uneclipsed or partial eclipsed sun is through special-purpose solar filters, such as "eclipse glasses." We encourage everyone to use precaution when viewing the eclipse and to use specified and undamaged filters when viewing the sun.
