Summer Internship Opportunities
The City of Los Angeles' Public Works unit is offering five-week PAID internships for high school students in the following areas:
1) Engineering
2) Architecture
3) Construction Management
4) Environmental Science
To qualify, the student needs to meet the following criteria:
1) The student needs to CURRENTLY be either a junior or senior.
2) Attend a LAUSD school or a high school located in the City of Los Angeles
3) Submit an on-line application at:

4) Provide verification on student's legal right to work

5) Attend a mandatory job skills workshop
6) Attend a mandatory interview session
7) Must be available to work from July 8th - August 9, 2013 between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Family Module
Parents of Grant students can now begin the process to register on the LAUSD Family Module. This will give parents access to attendance and grade information about their students. Class assignment information is available only if the student's teacher uses the grademax rollbook module. Parents will need to complete the Family Module Parent Access Request Form (English or Spanish) and submit it to Grant High School. An Access Key with registration instructions will then be provided. Parents will then use that Access Key to set up a username and password for the Family Module.

Grant Website Parent Registration
Parents can now register on the Grant HIgh School website.
The student ID requested on the registration form is the student's record number, which is located on the student ID card from Grant High. Please follow the instructions on the Registration Form. Access to this form is from the side menu "Parent Registration."
