Grade Change Forms available: AB 104

Did you earn a D or an F in any classes last year? New legislation passed by the California legislature [Education Code section 49066.5 (AB 104)] allows students to request a grade change for any course the student took last year.

Any letter grade can be changed to a Pass or No Pass on the student’s transcript. There is no limit as to the number or type of courses eligible for this grade change application. The grade change application will NOT negatively affect the student’s grade point average or result in the forfeiture of a student’s eligibility for athletics or school programs.

The deadline to submit the form is August 17th (the second day of school). This is a FIRM deadline established by the state. Grade change forms can be found on the school website, are available with your counselors, and in the school offices.

Please fill out your form and submit it to the Main Office or to your counselor. Alternately, you can email it to Ms. McMurrin (rlm9245@lausd.net).
