Greetings, future scientists and engineers!

 

I teach physics and chemistry, with a focus on helping students build on what they already know and make connections between new ideas and the world around them. In my classroom, students use their knowledge to solve problems, apply concepts to new situations, create models, explain their thinking, and justify their answers. My goal is for students to understand not just what happens, but why it happens, and to feel confident using what they know to figure out something new.
