Recently, Interim Superintendent Reilly announced that LA Unified, once again, is making vaccination opportunities available to all students 12 years and up during this school year. I am pleased to let you know that Grant High School will be hosting mobile COVID vaccination teams on November 18. Vaccination appointments and electronic consents are required, and both can be done through the Daily Pass. Appointments are being offered from 12:00pm - 7:00pm. Also available on Thursday, November 18, is a Community Vaccine Clinic. This clinic will be down Lancer Lane in the 700 area/Humanitas Plaza from 3 pm - 7 pm. This clinic will be available to all community members. Appointments are available through myturn.ca.gov. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, including boosters, will be available. At this time, the clinic is offering vaccines for children 12 and up, and all children under 18 must have a parent present for vaccine authorization.
