hello class of 2020 this is your board member got tomorrow certain Board District 3 now many of you have envisioned going to prom attending a Banquets graduation with your family and friends but instead the events that you were looking forward to wear either canceled or postponed and this uncertainty as to what the next day's the next the next chapter of your life may look like has created anxiety and sadness for for many of you and I do understand the frustration the pain you feel because the final moments of your life long educational experience have been cut short by This Global pandemic nevertheless we are trying to make this moment as special as possible by honoring and celebrating each and every one of and all that you have accomplished I'm sure that during these difficult times with ongoing online learning you have learn new skills that you will take with you ever you go weather School Community College ra 4-year college with a military I know you will be prepared to succeed and as your board member of you what you have become continue to connect with your friends and families remotely remember your challenges accomplishments and all the wonderful memories during your K-12 years I know right now you might like this is the end but remember this is just the beginning you need to stay positive strong safe and be happy don't forget now commencement needs to be getting not the end so let's are tassels over and congratulations to you class of 2020 LAUSD
